Our Vision

'Teaching the Word and Touching the World'

What does this mean? Well, we want to encourage people to develop a meaningful, personal relationship with the living God by providing material which will promote healthy thinking, faith, worship and action.
Our method is to explain and present bible based truth in a way that can be easily understood but also challenges, and we pray that the Holy Spirit will take all that we do and apply it to people's lives to glorify God our Father through his son Jesus.

What we do

GNB is a producer of bible focused radio programmes, which are broadcast throughout the UK and worldwide. We freely share our programmes with some other producers and radio broadcasters. We have contacts with 14 countries and 70 local Bible Teachers, between them they produce around 80 unique radio programmes each week. They also provide literature, audio, video, television, internet, sponsor youth camps and support schools in needy parts of the world.

GNB is an evangelical Christian organisation and our statement of faith describes in more detail the values and principles that are behind what we do.

GNB is based in Ranskill, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom.

How do we pay for what we do

GNB is not paid for the radio programmes it produces, we often have to buy airtime. Our main income is via legacies or personal giving from individuals, some support from churches and a lesser amount from sales of literature and CDs.

How you can join us

By becoming a 'Ministry Partner' you can help keep our programmes on the air, reaching people that only radio can touch. Subscribe £30 per year and receive a GNB-CD sent bi-monthly. This CD is packed with biblical material to inspire, including both current and archived programmes. £30 is the minimum subscription required to mail out the CD's cost effectively. You will receive them without further payment if you already support at £100 or more per year.

How we are organised

The work of GNB is overseen by a board of currently 12 directors / trustees who meet regularly to support and monitor the day to day actvities of the executive team. The executive team is led by National Director Dr Derek Stringer and Business Manager Chalmers Dobson. The Executive team is supported by much appreciated office staff at Ranskill and many willing and helpful volunteers.

GNB is a organised as a registered company Good News Broadcasting Association (Great Britain) Limited (Company no. 1270665) which is the trustee of the GNB charity of the same name (Registered Charity no. 275115) in the UK.
